About The Brand
Coco Chocolatier
The Art of Chocolate is an artisan chocolatier based in Edinburgh, Scotland. They meticulously craft their portfolio of contemporary chocolate with the world’s finest Colombian cocoa, before enveloping them in original designs by independent artists. Their creative team of chocolatiers produce gourmet chocolate confections, themselves works of art. COCO is a canvas for artists and artisans alike: those who dare to innovate, inspire and challenge. This is where creativity and cocoa collide. There is no compromise on style or substance.
Origin Made - Coco Chocolatier sources their product at its origin, purchasing coverture from Columbia to create chocolate products in Edinburgh, UK. They want to challenge the industry norm of going straight to the origin and purchasing the raw commodity at a lower cost. They decided to work with the Colombian partners to source cacao that has been a little more finished at origin before it reaches the Edinburgh kitchen.
Supporting The Arts - Over the years they have collaborated with a number of contemporary artists from all over the world (including Sir Billy Connolly, Timorous Beasties, Atelier Bingo, William LaChance, Tom Pigeon, and many more). They commission bespoke designs that they use as wrappers for their chocolates. This allows their products to look unique, and simultaneously it provides a platform for artists to showcase their work to an audience that may have never come across their art before.
