Oatco was founded by Laura Murphy after she realised that, as a busy entrepreneur and mum of two, she was constantly searching for something quick, satisfying and genuinely tasty to keep her energised throughout the day.
Oats had fuelled people for generations and were already a staple in her own routine, but she felt the category hadn't evolved to meet the needs of modern lifestyles. Most convenient snacks were either heavily focused on protein or sat firmly within traditional confectionery. Laura saw an opportunity to create something different, convenient, great tasting products built around the natural energy of oats.
